Sometimes a property just needs a reset. The bones are great - good plants, solid layout - but the beds have gotten away from you. Weeds creeping in, old mulch breaking down, shrubs going ragged. It doesn't take much for things to start looking neglected, even on a really nice home.
That's exactly what we were working with here. We pulled weeds across all the beds, trimmed up the crepe myrtles and bushes, and then laid down 30 yards of fresh dark mulch from the front beds all the way around the property. Every bed got attention - foundation plantings along the front, the driveway borders, the side and back of the house. Nothing got skipped.
The mulch is the part most people underestimate. Fresh black mulch does something to a property that's hard to explain until you see it - it makes the whole thing read as intentional. The stone, the brick, the plantings - they all pop against that dark background. It also does real work below the surface, holding moisture and cutting down on weed pressure going forward.
Trimming the crepe myrtles properly matters too. A lot of crews hack them back too hard - what people call "crape murder." We clean them up in a way that keeps the natural shape intact and sets them up to fill out well. Same goes for the foundation shrubs. Tight, clean cuts. Nothing butchered.
A cleanup like this isn't just cosmetic. It's maintenance that protects your plantings, keeps weeds from getting established, and helps the property hold its value. If your beds are due for a refresh, this is the kind of work we do all the time - and we'd be glad to do it for you.
